Picture a quiet corner in the Scottish Borders, overlooking one of the great landmarks, on a Sunday afternoon, late summer. Foster Care Connect staff, fostering families and extended family members, and even a couple of ponies joined together to take part in what was a very enjoyable afternoon. The weather was incredibly kind and we all enjoyed catching up with each other. We ALL had rides on ponies, yummy food, lots of chat, French boules and the all important giant game of Rounders.
Having opportunities for everyone to meet are really important at Foster Care Connect. We know how important relationships are in making the difference for all of our children and young people. There were so many positives from the day and everyone had a great time.
